The Gypsy Horses of A Wizards
Spell Ranch in Burleson, Texas
have an exceptionally astute, sensitive, calm, smart, and loving
nature.
Because of this they provide immediate feedback.
If you are a member of our military suffering from PTSD, TBI, MST,
stress/anxiety, family issues,
stressed, unhappy, angry, feeling grief or lack of
self-esteem,
having personal or family issues, or work life issues,
the horses will provide you an opportunity
to develop insight into your particular challenge and take control of it.
Due to their ability to act a a biofeedback machine, you cannot
fool a horse.
Join other veterans, spouses, and their families
along with an Equine Specialist, Counselor, or peer-to-peer support
group and of course,
the Gypsy Horses to see if there can be a difference in your life.

Our Military Program
We are a proud member of MVPN
All mental health, learning and growth services at our facility are
provided to active military, reserves, retired, veterans and their families
for FREE.
All
sessions are on the ground with the horses, not riding,
so services are accessible to all.
Horses as therapy animals have a long documented history of helping
people work through emotional challenges without the stigma of
traditional psychotherapy in an office.
The military are generally hands-on and Horse participation
therapy often provides quicker results whether in individual or
gender specific group
participation. Family
participation is also encouraged. Participation
in Horse supported activities allows clients to recognize unhealthy
patterns, create awareness of their actions, and helps them define their
own solutions to problems as well as building on their own strengths.
Horses can draw out long buried feelings from MST in a non-judgmental
and therapeutic way because Horses, as prey animals, have unique highly
attuned senses. PTSD, stress, anxiety, problems with reintegration,
family counseling can all be addressed in this program.
We provide a quiet bucolic setting with Licensed Counselors
(some former military themselves), Horse Specialist,the sensitive and quiet Gypsy Horse breed,
and a true respect for the military culture.
We also are a firm believer in Peer-To-Peer Networking
and are an active member of Military Veteran Peer Network.
ALL military services are provided FOR FREE.
