The Gypsy Horses of A Wizards Spell Ranch in Burleson, Texas
 have an exceptionally astute, sensitive, calm, smart, and loving nature.
Because of this they provide immediate feedback.
If you are a member of our military suffering from PTSD, TBI, MST, stress/anxiety, family issues,
stressed, unhappy, angry, feeling grief or lack of self-esteem,
having personal or family issues, or work life issues, the horses will provide you an opportunity
 to develop insight into your particular challenge and take control of it.
Due to their ability to act a a biofeedback machine, you cannot fool a horse.

About Our Gypsy Horses

A Wizards Spell Ranch is home to over 30 of the most amazing breed of horse, the Gypsy Horses.  The horses on this ranch were originally imported from England from the true Romani Gypsy people about nine years ago. The Romani have been raising these horses for many decades as true family members pulling their wagons (known as "vardos"). Only the finest quality and calmest of horses were able to be used by these families as they could ill afford to lose their wagons with unsafe horses or risk their children getting hurt.  The Gypsy Horse was a true family member allowing their children to run and play in and around them as they moved down the road.
We continue that quiet calm tradition here.
     
We have calm stallions and wonderful mares who provide us awesome babies each year about April. Our babies are born into our hands (we have a monitoring system which beeps at us when it is baby-arrival time).  Our babies begin being "worked" at birth beginning with imprinting a newborn and they will wear a baby halter and a towel on their backs almost immediately. They learn all kinds of fun "in hand tricks" such as walking over jumps, standing up on pedestals, and many will play with the ball almost right away. Our horses are treated with great love and patience.
You can't fool a horse.
      
We also have wonderful geldings who ride, drive, show, and generally keep everyone in stitches with their antics. Great joy is brought just by spending time in and among the herd. Walking out into the pasture, a client coined the phrase "invisible lead rope" as the horses will just walk around with you. No need to put a lead rope on them. They just do it for the sheer joy of being with you. It is almost impossible to be depressed, stressed, or in any way unhappy when walking in a field of Gypsy Horses of any age and you will learn how to handle them and train them...or perhaps they will train you. Know that you cannot fool a horse. They are attuned to your every feeling.
